| CA Gold Rush
started out his show career as a yearling, winning all his halter classes
and receiving his ROM after one show !! He also won his yearling
futurity class. During the Summer of 2002 a video (available by
request) was made of our beautiful Stallion. This was the last video
that will be made. In September of 2003 Gold Rush suffered a severe
leg injury during training, breaking his leg in 5 places. He spent
four months at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital. He had a number of
complications, including Laminitis in his three supporting legs. The
Vets never gave up on him, and neither did we. Gold Rush had such an
awesome attitude through it all , we were told that was what brought him
through it. He's a miracle, and we're happy he survived it all. He spent the next two years recovering at home. We started collecting him again in Spring of 2005. He is doing very well now, he plays in his paddock with his toys, and talks to his "Ladies" across the aisle in the barn. Click on photo to view a short Video.
