Welcome to Windhaven, we hope you enjoy your visit.

Windhaven   is owned and operated by Liz and Lou Herbert.  We are located on the beautiful Key Peninsula, Washington State.  Key Peninsula is situated approximately 15 miles west of Tacoma.  Our farm is at the top of a sloping hillside, tall fir trees and large old cedar trees are spread across the acreage.   Looking West, we overlook Minter valley, where in the spring the maples leaf out, and all through the summer they are a bright green, then in the fall we are blessed with all of the beautiful colors.  We pride ourselves in raising quality horses.   Our stallion, CA Gold Rush, is a beautiful Palomino Pinto who we breed to our purebred Arabian mares.  Gold Rush consistently produces quality foals with excellent dispositions !!

As you can see, the spring is beautiful here,  a reprieve from the rains and snow !! 

And yes , a time for the babies to get the kinks out !
